Energy design is the art and science of enhancing the equilibrium of entropy.
The built environment generates 40% of annual global CO2 emissions.
Energy Design Lavovski was founded in 2022 with the goal of helping create better and healthier buildings. Using simulations and parametric design techniques, we strive to reduce the overall energy consumption of the construction industry.
We are specialists in Computational Design, Energy, and BIM Modelling.

Igor Mitric Lavovski | Dipl. -Ing. | Founder
Igor Mitric Lavovski completed his architecture studies at TUGraz, Institute for Buildings and Energy, under the guidance of the renowned Prof. Brian Cody. Since graduating in 2012, he has worked as an architect and parametric energy designer for several architectural practices in Austria and in 2018 co-founded Cybershoes Gmbh, a virtual reality technology lab, which he will successfully exit five years later. In 2022, he founded Energy Design Lavovski with the goal of minimizing the negative environmental impact of buildings. His guiding design principle is "form follows energy".
Maja Bubic Mitric | Mag. jur. | Key Account Manager
After graduating with a degree in law, Maja gained experience as a jurist in law firms. In 2018, she completed the BFI course in accounting. At Energy Design Lavovski, she takes care of the day-to-day operations of the company and liberates the team of engineers to work creatively.

1 Igor Mitric Lavovski is a former student of mine. He completed his master thesis entitled “Sky Roller” under my
supervision in 2012. The topic was a skyscraper, designed as a hyper-dense three dimensional vertical city
based on sustainable principles in the large overpopulated slum area of Dharavi in Mumbai. Using innovative parametric design techniques, which were much less common amongst students then than they are now, Igor
wrote scripts for Grasshopper to support an evolutionary process and optimize the design for sun and wind.
He quickly grasped the principles of energy efficient architectural design and was eager to learn and develop
skills combining parametric computer based design with energy analysis.
