Walk Your Sketch

When I started studying architecture in Austria, I didn’t speak a word of German. I could only say Guten Tag and Aufwiedersehen. So for my exams, I started drawing everything! For every idea, concept, and detail of my project, I would draw everything by hand with ink on paper to minimize the talking.
Then I would paste my drawings on a big wall, huge black ink drawings, in different formats, and present with almost saying nothing.
It worked. I never got the best grades, but it worked well.

I still draw. 
Mostly in the early design phase or for some feasibility studies where I collaborate with HVAC and process engineers. At this stage, fast communication with other stakeholders is a priority. That’s why I have developed this simple app in Unreal that allows me to upload my quick sketches, fill them with people and 3D elements, and showcase the functionality of my solution.
I call it Walk Your Sketch.
